This stunning beauty came from the estate of a Palm Beach socialite, and dates to 1935. They just don't make them like this anymore!
Complete with a $12,150 appraisal done in 2004 when gold prices were much lower than they are today.
The total diamond weight is 2.20 carats. The center stone is cushion cut (7.80mm x 5.21mm) and weighs 1.40 carats. It's I-1 in clarity and R-S in color, falling into the "colored" diamond category as a "fancy light brown-yellow" The two side stones are half-moon cuts and weigh .40 each (.80 total) They are VS-2, K-l in color. The slight contrast in color between the center and side stones really makes this one unique. Even though the center stone is rated I-1, under 10 power magnification it is a really nice diamond.
The symmetry and finish are rated by the gemologist as "good"
Because I've had this in my inventory for some time now, I'm letting it go at cost. Take advantage of this!
