What a combination ~ This 1.20 carat cognac diamond is a stunner and colored diamonds are really becoming desired.
After all, diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend!!
Fancy colored diamonds are a unique and non-traditional way to say "Marry Me" or make a lovely choice as a right hand ring.
Explore the internet and see what colored diamonds like this one are selling for. In January 2013 I saw a one carat for $5900.00 and a 1.05 carat at the Ross Simons estate web site for over $12,000!!!
This lovingly crafted and ornate ring weighs 5.41 grams of 14 karat white gold making it the perfect setting for this stone that throws sparks of oranges, reds, and greens in candle light and in the sun. The side accent stones are trillion cut white zircons that weigh .25 carats each.
Under 10 x magnification, the cognac diamond has a natural "feather"-- a small inclusion on the table of the diamond near one of the prongs. This has been examined by a master bench man and does not compromise the beauty or durability of this magnificent jewel, but validates its authenticity. These stones come from the Argyle mines in Kimberly North East Australia. This dark, saturated color is rare, and collectable. This color diamond is no longer coming out of these Australian mines.
This ring is currently a size 6.25, hallmarked and tested 14 karat white gold. The mounting also has "RAH.D.M." stamped inside the shank. It can be sized up or down 2 sizes by an experience bench man.
