Vintage Celluloid Toy Dog

This ornament of a large dog is celluloid. Generally considered first thermoplastic and was registered celluloid in 1870. The dogs color is tans and browns. He is a large dog measuring 5 Inch from nose to tail by 4 1/2 Inch head to toe. There is a black ink mark that probably can be removed. The condition is excellent with no dents or scratches. There are no makers marks. A great collectors item or ornament.
