This is a lovely hat pin that tested 10K GF wax seal watch fob. The ornate open work design with a curved monogrammed stamp. Back in the day wax sealing your letters with initials was very popular. The metal stick pin itself measures 3 1/4 Inches. The length of the entire hat pin is 4 Inches. The width is 7/8 Inch. The R.L.S. initials are an exquisite English script. This Victorian -Art Nouveau(1837-1910 piece is in excellent condition for it's age.
So many wonderful uses today for this pin to set off a coat, scarf or hat to name a few or add this to ones collection.
