Add some class to your boudoir with these lovely pieces!
This set features a Dresser Jar or powder box and a Hair Receiver. The tops are engine turned English sterling silver. The bases are elegantly pressed or cut with intricate designs, but they are slightly different.
The Hair Receiver or “tidy” is hallmarked for Birmingham 1925. It measures 2 3/4” across and 3” tall. There are two dings in the top, but this piece is otherwise in extremely good condition.
The Dresser Jar or powder box is hallmarked for across and 1 1/2” tall. This piece is in extremely good condition.
Both pieces are unmonogrammed. I believe the maker of both pieces is H. Matthews.
