I totally love the work of George Sharp. His silver patterns are unique, different and downright funky! His works dates from 1850 to about 1870.
This 6 3/4" long Sterling silver serving spoon (most likely a sugar spoon) is in the GSH2 pattern by George Sharp. The top of the handle features a super cool finial with lots of detail. The bowl is shell shaped and has the last whisper of gold wash on it. This spoon is in extremely good, unmonogrammed condition.
An amazing find for the serious collector of fine American silver!
