I love unusually late Victorian Sterling! And this stunning spoon is one of the coolest pieces ever.
This Sterling silver egg (or coffee) spoon is in an unidentifiable pattern by Gorham, probably circa 1885-95. The top of the front of the handle is textural, looks like faux animal skin. The rest of the handle has cool spiral motifs. The back of the handle has a softer version of the textural pattern. This spoon is 4 1/2" long and in extremely good, unmonogrammed condition.
A rare and exciting find!
