Bring on the haggis!

Robbie Burns is regarded as the "national poet of Scotland," and his birthday is celebrated with haggis every January 25th. This English Sterling silver spoon features a medallion that says Wood Notes Wild Better on the top and a Wee Bush than Nae Bield on the bottom of the medallion. This means it is better to have a little bush than no shelter at all. Burns used this sweet saying when he signed his letters. This spoon is hallmarked for Birmingham 1910-11. I believe the maker is Joseph Cook & Son. This spoon measures 4 3/4" long and is in extremely good condition.
