This wonderful 8 1/2" long sterling silver spoon is called a pea spoon. It can be used to serve "wet" vegetables. I love the ornate pierced pattern in the bowl. The pattern on the handle is very simple and elegant. This piece is stamped sterling Theodore B. Starr. This company was in business from 1900-1925 in New York and was succeeded by Reed and Barton. It is in extremely good, unmonogrammed condition.
