This stunning 6" long sterling silver ladle was made in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1830-31. This is the year that King William IV took over the crown from George IV. This piece is fully hallmarked for Edinburgh 1830-31, and I believe the maker was Jas Nasmyth & Co. There is also a second stamp for a maker, A E. The ladle is in the elegant Kings pattern and is monogrammed as shown. This ladle is in extremely good condition.
