This piece is stunning ! I am not sure exactly how it was used, but it is an impressive piece.
This is a three part condiment server. The outer two parts are footed and ornately beaded pots, possibly master salt and pepper cellars, or more likely mustard dishes. In the center is what appears to be a small trumpet vase. This part could hold toothpicks. However, I would opt to put a couple of small flowers in this part. The bases are hexagonal, each with three little feet. The insides of the the pots are gold washed. The only mark on this piece says sterling and is found on the underside of the vase. This piece measures about 5" by 2" by 5" tall and is in extremely good, unmonogrammed condition.
