Gorham made some super cool patterns in the mid 1880s and 90s. These were usually pretty funky patterns. This unusual 6 6 1/2" long sterling silver fork is a butter fork in the number 15-B pattern, which dates from 1885. This pattern was only made in the butter fork. The top of the handle is an exotic repousse design. The rest of the handle is twisted. This fork is marked as shown and in extremely good, unmonogrammed condition. It would be a great addition to any serious silver collection!
