This antique corkscrew and bottle opener combo features a Sterling Silver Sheath made by the esteemed Wm B. Kerr & Co. of Newark, New Jersey. They were in business from 1855 until 1906 when they were purchased by the Gorham Corporation. The end of the sheath is marked with the Kerr logo, STERLING, 5207- BB.
The sterling sheath has an engine turned design and a mono of SWS. Sheathed, this combo corkscrew / bottle opener measures 3 5/8 inches long.
In good antique condition with some light wear & surface scratches commensurate with over 100 years of age. The point of the corkscrew is quite sharp.
