We've never seen anything like this before! Our research tells us this is a rare agate that was mined decades ago and is now unavailable. It was once found in the China Lake region of Death Valley, California where the China Lake Military Base is now and that was closed to mining in the 70s. It features a vibrant orange color with beautiful plumage in brown, black and white. This necklace is in excellent condition. It measures 26" in length with a simple s-hook clasp. The oval beads graduate with the smallest by the neck measuring approx 25mm x 30 mm and the biggest center agate bead measuring approx. 30mm x 40mm.
