Today we are offering this darling antique French Walking & Head Turning Bisque head doll with a composition body. She is in very good condition, with a beautiful porcelain bisque head with no cracks, chips, or repairs. She does have some paint loss on the right hand. She has a very nice composition body with walking straight legs. When the legs move back and forth the head turns from side to side. I believe she is also a kisser, however, the string in the back is too short to allow the arm to move the way it is supposed to.
She has brown glass eyes that open and close. She has retain some of her natural eyelashes. She has cut porcelain teeth, beautiful lips, and nicely feathered eyebrows.
Her markings on the back of the head are Petite Francaise, J V, an anchor, France, 8, and Liane. She has a human hair wig fashioned in ring curls running down her back.
She comes dressed in an antique green dress trimmed in antique lace. She also wear a white slip, pantaloons, socks, and cloth and leather shoes. She measures approx. 21" long.
She is a beautiful doll and would be a nice addition to any doll collection.
