The stagecoach has a plaque on the roof which states that the coach was made from teak wood off the USS Missouri. When one looks at history of USS Missouri it states that teak was used on the deck. The coach is made quite well and is in three separate pcs.(see pictures) The coach part is about fifteen by six by eight inches. The wood pc on the back moves up and down but has one slat missing. There are some pcs of trim missing around the windows. It has a wire rack on the roof. There is a wood front and back seat. The doors do not open. Parts of the wheel bases seem to be oak. The wheels are covered by copper as are some of the fittings. The wheels are made of wood except for the covering. The small wheel pc is thirteen by eight and half inches, while the large wheel pc is about thirteen by nine inches. The small wheels are about five inches while the large wheels are about seven inches. It is a very interesting folk art pc.
