I am pleased to offer this huge vintage circa 1960 Navajo green turquoise sterling silver ring.
The turquoise stone in the setting measures approximately 2-1/4" north to south and slightly under 7/16" east to west. Under 10x loupe magnification a fissure was noted that is extremely faint, located in the 11'oclock position and extends to the opposite side to the 3'oclock position edge (best viewed in the 3rd photo). This fissure through the stone is very stable in the setting and please do keep in mind this is a HUGE stone. I believe this to have occurred with the wear of the piece or possibly the ring had been dropped onto a very hard surface/floor by the previous owner. This fissure is very difficult to observe with the naked eye and certainly would not be noticed when adorned.
The ring weighs 39.4 grams or 1.39 oz. It is a very hefty significant size. It is crafted in sterling silver and marked sterling on the inner aspect of the ring shank. The ring is currently a US size 9.
