~ Well Built Model Of The Santa María 1460 1:50 Scale ~
A Billing Boats kit built plant on frame model of the ship Santa Maria.
This finely detailed model is sold with the original instructions and is dated 1982.
The model comes hand painted and fully rigged with details including brass cannons with carriages, hand decorated sails and the ships lantern.
The stand has a plaque that reads "Mantua Kit 775 1/50th scale SANTA MARIA fully rigged static model. 750mm long. Walnut hull with brass fittings."

The model has a length of 29.7 inches (75 cm), a width of 14 inches (35.5 cm) and a height of 21.3 inches (54 cm). The main-mast is 15 inches (38 cm) wide.

~ La Santa Maria ~
La Santa María de la Inmaculada Concepción (Spanish for The Holy Mary of the Immaculate Conception), or La Santa María, was the largest of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus in his first voyage. Her master and owner was Juan de la Cosa.
