The model is of wooden construction with wire used to construct the gun barrels, masts etc.
These were used by the Royal Navy to train crew for both enemy recognition and to prevent friendly fire incidents during World War 2.
It is mounted on a rectangular wooden base.

The model is complete apart from the missing rear torpedo tubes and is in good vintage order.

The base is 22 cm (8.5 inches) in length.
The model is 17.5 cm (6 inches) in length.
