~ Original British Three Draw Telescope Named To A. H. Ross ~

Here we have a lovely three drawer brass telescope. Each end retains the original brass shutter and each optic is clear and functional.

Around the rear brass fitting there is an engraved inscription that reads:

“A.H.Ross Richard Charleton Cumdeklamd “

~ Dimensions ~

The telescope has a length of 7 ½ inches (19cm) when closed and 22 ¼ inches (57cm) when open with a diameter of 1 ½ inches (4cm).

It weighs 420g.

~ Condition ~

The telescope is fully functional with clean undamaged lenses which deliver a clear, well focused image.

There are some slight dents and damage to the brass but it has retained most of its colour.

The woodwork is in good order but with some signs of paint and age related wear.
