This wooden ships wheel has come from a vintage Chinese Junk and dates to the early half of the 20th century. The wheel is of a medium/dark wood with steel supports to the main ring and hub. The wheel has eight spokes of turned wood. This rustic piece would look good either indoors or out.

~ Dimensions ~

This piece has a diameter of 39 inches (99cm) The central hub measures 6.25 inches (16cm) in diameter. This wheel weighs 12.7kg.

~ Condition ~

The wheel is in overall good used condition. The piece has weathered as expected with wear to the finish but the wood remains solid.There has been some shrinkage to the wood over the years which has resulted in some gaps around joins. The piece is however sturdy with no signs of loose spokes.
