This unusual Marcasite and Pyrite in Slate, comes from the banks of a small area of Lake Michigan, in Norwood / Charlevoix.
This specimen measures about 3.5 inches across and about 1 inch high.
The Marcasite is the small nodule at the end, while the Pyrite Bloom is Large and anchors the two pieces together.
This is a gently mined and dried piece, the slate back is Firm and solid.
