This is a Lovely smaller size Turquoise and Sterling Silver Bracelet from a Fine Jewelry Estate here in Michigan.
There are no identifying hallmarks nor any quality marks, which is odd as this piece appears to be Native American in origin.
The Metals and stone have both been scrutinized and tested and it is all natural Turquoise set in Sterling Silver. The date of manufacture appears to be about 1960, due to the natural aging in the turquoise stone. The higher areas of the stone are a bit darker due to natural aging.
The Turquoise stone itself is quite nice and is all natural Turquoise with some matrix inclusions. The stone has nice bright robins' egg blue body color and is a free form cut which is common when the rough stone is of an unusual shape to begin with.
The bracelet is a "One of a kind" not a manufactured series so it has a lot of character and is perfect if you have a smaller petite wrist size of
5 3/4 to 6.5 inches. It fits in a semi-cuff fashion and is lovely on the wrist, allowing for freedom of movement while staying in place.
A lovely piece and a very pretty natural stone, without any treatment whatsoever.
The front of the bracelet measures about 6/8 of an inch across by about 2 1/2 inches wide. It fits nicely on the wrist behind the hand and will stay in place during wear.
