This is one of the prettiest 1920's mesh purses made in Germany with a ruffled hem. The body of mesh is rainbow colored with an enameled handled in bright pink, a strong statement with the silver and pastels. The snap opener has obsidian glass tips. I love that the hem is ruffled; many of these mesh bags have a fringe which often have disconcerting missing strands but this looks full and perfect. The little bag measures 2.25" across, 3.5 in length with a 3.5" drop on the chain. The only condition issue is that the side seams at the tops are not connected to the frame. This often happens with these mesh bags and it is only noticed when the bag is open. It can easily be attached with a thread if it bothers. The handle is marked made in Germany on the inside.
