This is a lovely walnut Eastlake style frame in a smaller size to fit into your doll room appointments. It measures 6.75" by 9" shown next to my seated 15" bebe and it fits into her decor perfectly. The double frame exhibits Eastlake details of incised carved designs in the walnut, an interior curved frame with painted lines on gilt bordered by ebony paint, and also seen on the exterior sides of the frame. It is in excellent antique condition with no paint loss.

Under the glass is the original mat with 2 gilt curved frames and a nice texture to the paper. Placed in the frames are 2 gorgeous embossed Victorian lithographs of beautiful women in 18th C elaborate silks, feathers, and jewelry. The detail is exquisite. They are placed over a pale pink textured mat which sets off the tans, browns and gilt beautifully.
