This is a fabulous Art Deco brooch circa 1930's. The central flower trembles when it moves which is the result of the attachment to a tiny spring, in excellent condition, see picture. "Tremblers", or tremblant as they were known, were popular in hatpins, less often seen in brooches and are quite collectable. Amazingly, all the tiny stones are intact and in excellent shape with no darkened or chipped ones. Silver tone beading throughout really makes the piece glisten. Under the lovely flower with curved petals are 3 shapely leaves on each side. These brooches were not marked and most likely were made in Czechoslovakia. The piece measures 2 1/8" long and 1 3/8" across.
