What a beauty of a ring, for an engagement or just because! A bird’s nest or cat’s cradle of 14kt gold weaves back and forth, dotted with delicate golden flowers and coming to the center to cradle no cat or bird, but instead a stunning diamond in its own white gold hexagonal setting. The sleekness of the gold and the symmetry of the design gives a distinctly Art Deco flair to the organic feel of the setting, marrying the two together. Divinely proportioned, stunningly executed, this is one vintage ring that goes beyond all tests of time.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The setting is in beautiful condition, only slight surface scratches, as is appropriate for the age of the piece. The diamond is a modern round brilliant cut, with VS1 clarity and K color. The diamond is a 4.2mm round and 2.35mm deep with an approximate weight of 0.25 carat. Ring size is currently 6 ¼, although it could be resized within reason. Circa 1930.
Gender: Female, Age Group: Adult, Color: Gold/silver/white, Size: 6 1/4
