I am guessing these were made mid to end of 19th Century. No marks of any kind by which to identify the maker or the origin.
Handles are hollow and, I think, plated. They polished up beautifully. The blades and tines are another matter. I think they are made of steel, in very good form, not bright and shiny, but dark and stained. But the business ends of the pieces were, I think, never as bright and shiny as the handles. The overall effect is beautiful.
forks: 6, each about 30 grams - handles are four sided and all sides are decorated 6 7/8 inches end to end
knives: 6, each about 35 grams - handles are four sided and all sides are decorated 7 7/8 inches end to end
No box
If anyone knows anything about these, I would love to hear from you. I think they may be Russian or French? but that is just a guess

Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions, please contact me. I love hearing from you
