Large Theodore Haviland Porcelaine Limoges Antique Bowl - image 1 of 13

What a nice example of a Theodore Haviland period piece. The back stamp is Haviland mark 32 which dates from 1895 to 1903, probably closer to the 1895 date. The bowl is encircled both inside and out by dainty leafy sprays of pink flowers. The scalloped rim is decorated with hand painted with gold colored highlights. The oval bowl measures 10 5/8" by 9 1/2" by 4 1/2" in height. It weighs 2 pounds, 7 ounces. There is some slight gold paint loss along the rim which is typical of a piece of this age. There is a small chip in the side of one handle. See last photo.
