This delightful black jacket and skirt dates to the early 1900's. The jacket and skirt are wool or a wool blend. The jacket buttons in the front and has hooks and eyes. The top of the sleeve has a shiny, silk type fabric ruffle. The sleeve is puffy at the top and narrows to a silky band and pleated cuff. The collar is a stand-up silk collar. The bottom of the jacket has a silk type fabric band that comes to a v in the front and in the back. The jacket and skirt are lined in a brown fabric. The skirt attaches with hooks and eyes. There are two silk fabric bands at the bottom of the skirt with pleats at the bottom.
The skirt length is 43" with a 25" waist. The jacket sleeve measures 23" from the shoulder to the bottom of the cuff.
The jacket is snug on the mannequin. The mannequin has a 34" bust, 24" waist, and 34" hips.
I have listed 3 dresses from the same estate. The dresses were found stored for many years in a trunk in the attic of the home.
This outfit is in good condition for its age. There is no rips or tears. There are a few pin size holes.
