This wonderful set of Wedgwood dishes dates fro the late 1800's through the early 1900's. The back stamp shows the unicorn stamp, and some pieces have the early c1226 mark. The dishes' primary colors are black and tan with the striking black center circle and rim encompassing the flowered basket design. This 30 piece set would serve as a truly lovely dessert or luncheon set.

The pieces include: 1- 14 1/4" by 6 1/4" handled tray; 1- 11" by 8 1/2" handled tray; 1- handled basket 5" by 3 1/4" height 2 1/8"; 1- octagonal pitcher- 4 1/2" by 2 1/2", height 2 1/2"; 1- oval sauce pitcher- 3 1/2" by 2 1/8", height 3"; 1- octagonal open sugar bowl- 3 1/2" by 2 3/4", height 2 1/4"; 8- coffee cups -3 3/4" diameter, 2 1/4" height; 8- saucers- 5 1/2" diameter; 8- octagonal plates- 8 3/8" diameter.

With the following exceptions, this set is in very good condition. The oval pitcher has a slight interior chip and a repaired handle. Two coffee cups have been broken and repaired. One cup has significant interior crazing. One plate has a 1 3/4" crack only slightly visible from the front. There is some crazing and very slight paint chipping commensurate with age.

This is a very pretty set suitable for your china cabinet and table.
