This rare and gorgeous all brass French chandelier was purchased from an antique collector's estate. This wonderful chandelier dates prior to World War I, dating from 1906 until 1910. The primary design motif consists of Neptune's cherubs frolicking with dolphins on a sea of waves. The cherubs sit atop the candle bearing base of the chandelier. The entire chandelier has a very intricate design. The chandelier has all new wiring with a ground wire added, since this was not a feature during this time. The three inside light sockets are new in order to bring them up to current codes. There are six lighted arms that extend 4 1/2" from the base with a height of 9" not including the bulb. The chandelier hangs down 31" from the ceiling. The ceiling attachment has a diameter of 5 1/2". The base has a 53" circumference. More information or photos are available upon request.
This chandelier is so unique it would be very difficult to find another one like this one.
