This gorgeous pair of peacock pitchers are 13 3/8" in height measuring from the base to the spout. The middle circumference is 26". Each pitcher weighs 4 pounds. The pair was made by Thomas Furnival and Sons, Limited of Cobridge, Staffordshire, England. The back stamp is rare and most likely intended for export. The pair date from 1871 until 1890. The previous owners said they were purchased in England during the 1960's when they resided in England. The motif is a peacock perched on a round posted railing with floral brush scene. The back is a floral branch. Gold splashes are displayed throughout the flow blue design. This set is in good condition with these exceptions. One pitcher has a hairline crack on the handle and the other pitcher has a hairline crack in the front, see photos.

Each pitcher will be shipped independently and double boxed.
