This gorgeous plate was hand painted by Rozy, a well known Limoges artist. The subjects he painted were scenes and flowers. The plate was made by Tressemann and Vogt Limoges France and decorated at their factory by Rozy. The plate was made for Ogden, Merrill and Greer, St. Paul, Minnesota, which was an upscale store during the turn of the century. The plate dates from 1892 until 1907. The plate has a 6" diameter with a scalloped thick gold trim. The roses are pink and red. This item is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
