Clam broth glass was produced in the 1920's. I'm not crazy about the name even though I like cherry claims! I can see how they would have come up with clam broth for the glass; it's an iridescent cloudy grey- white color. Like storm clouds! The vase is shaped like an oval basket with sweet tiny flowers painted on the top. The handles look like they were fashioned after rope. The height of the vase is 5 1/4" and the height to the handles is 6 5/8". The rim diameter is 5' by 6 3/4". The glass is heavy and weighs 1 pounds 15 ounces. This item is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
