This gorgeous (C T ), Carl Tielsch large oak leaf bowl has an early mark used from 1850 until 1899. The Carl Tielsch Porcelain factory was located in Altwasser, which is today Stary Zdroj, a district of Walbrzych, in Poland. This bowl has an oak leaf motif. The oak leaves are amazing! The veins are gold and the leaves are gleaming white with pink on all the edges. They look almost translucent. The background of the large leaf bowl is a mat brown blending to light brown. The handle is a brown branch with brown and peach colored acorns at the base of the top and bottom of the handle. The oak leaf bowl edge is trimmed in gold. Measuring to the top of the handle the height is 5". The diameter is 13" by 11". The weight is 2 pounds 5 ounces. A wonderful bowl for fresh fruit! This item is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some gold edging paint loss.
