Rare and beautiful best describes this circa 1920 sterling silver Guilloche enamel locket case with finger ring attached by a chain. Sweet rose pattern on lid and the locket opens to show you its original sterling rosary tucked inside. Made by the John Melatiah Fisher Jewelry Co. which was located in Attleboro, MA in the late 1800's to mid 1900's. The ring is a size 10 1/2. The rosary has JMF CO. marked along with STERLING as shown in photo. The back of locket has the word STERLING as well. I have not attempted to clean this piece in any way so please take a look at the photos as they are part of my description. A most unusual find, especially with that rosary inside! Doubt you'll find another anytime soon!!
CONDITION: Good to fine vintage pre-owned. Just the outer black enamel band has 2 very tight hairlines and one tiny nick. I could not even capture them with my camera but believe me you REALLY have to be looking under magnification to see. A few darkened spots on inside of locket case. Silver is tarnished but I don't dare touch it with a cleaner. Leaving that decision up to whoever buys it. Remember this piece is 100 years old so don't expect it to be in a "right out of a store" condition. You won't be disappointed however! Rosary is in excellent condition. Please note that any white areas you see along the edge of the locket when looking at the photos is light reflection ONLY from my lighting.
