A fabulous 18K yellow gold double ram’s head bypass bangle bracelet with blue enamel cloisonné. Circa 1950s-60s and likely Greek in origin. Similar design as Lalaounis and Zolotas ram bangles. Amazing sculpturing of rams and horns, designed as a bypass, with the back of the head designed in Etruscan style bead and wire works.
Highly detailed cloisonné workmanship on the body of the bangle. Beautiful blue enamel is applied around meticulously designed metalworks of what appears to be ancient Egyptian lotus flowers. The eyes and the back of the ram heads are made of green material, possibly stones or green enamel.
The bangle opens between the two rams head in bypass design, and hinged on the opposite side. Hallmarked 750 (for 18K) and A.56.
