Stunning Victorian table lamp which has a brass/bronze and marble base with green glass accents. It has four 2 pc. green glass prisms that are attached to the tips of petals. Starting at the bottom base is a 6" square of black and white marble then topped with an ornate brass/bronze base topped with a 3" square black and white marble. That is then topped with a green cut glass ornament then a brass tulip with another green cut glass topped with a circular holder for the globe.
The green prisms have a 2 3/4" drop. The wire rings that hold the prisms together are the original which I have not bothered trying to fix or replace, keeping the lamp original. The electric wiring should be replaced as it appears to be very old. The lamp is very heavy weighing 11 lbs. 8.5 oz. and is 27 1/4" tall with the globe on. The globe is hand painted with yellow roses and pink dogwood. The globe has a small chip in the base that looks like it could have happened when some made a screw too tight. It does not show or take away from the beauty of it. Please look closely at the photo.
The only history I have on it is that came from a very large estate near Syracuse, N.Y. around the 1940's
