A beautiful pair of antique brass stirrups sometimes called conquistador stirrups. They would be a wonderful enhancement to any decor such as on book shelves surrounded by leather books or in an equestrian collection. My research appears to date them around the 1800s. They are in great condition. They show very little wear and are without cracks or chips. It appears that sometime in their lifespan someone has tried to polish them as there are indications of polish residue in some of the finer areas, which I am sure could be brushed out. They measure 11" long, 5" high, and 5 1/4 " in width. Total weight of the pair is 5 lbs. 2 oz.
Recently found out that they are Peruvian Made for military calvary.
