This Miniature Black Pottery Bowl With Geometric Incised Design Was Made By A Santa Clara Artisan. The Santa Clara Pueblo Is Near San Ildefonso, New Mexico Where The Black Pottery Tradition Is Famous. This Small Bowl Measures 1 3/4" Tall x 2 3/4" Diameter. It Is Signed By The Artist, Ana Trillo, On The Bottom. The Bowl Does Not Sit Flat On The Bottom, So It Is A Little Wobbly. The Mouth Of The Bowl Has A Traditional Santa Clara Polygonal Rim That Distinguishes It From San Ildefonso Pottery. There Is Some Pitting And Wear To This Vintage Bowl But There Are No Cracks, Breaks Or Repairs.
