This Rare Post WWII Lighted Terrestrial 12" Globe Was Made By George F. Cram Co. The Globe Is Mounted In A Cast Metal Full Meridian And Fits Into A Pair Of Grooved Cast Bronze Atlas Figures Supporting The World On Their Backs. A Pull Chain Beneath The Globe Switches On The Internal Light. The Atlases Are Mounted On A Sculpted Walnut Base Measuring 15" Long x 5 1/4" Wide x 1 1/4" Tall. There Is Wear To The Globe Along The Seams (Shown In Photos) As Well As Two Minor Tears That Can Be Seen When The Globe Is Lighted (See Last Photo). The Colors Are Vibrant With A Deep Blue Ocean That Does Not Show In The Photos.
