These Antique Iron Bookends Have Elaborate Cut Out Designs With Hand Painted Crests In Yellow And Red Above Gold Painted Profiles Of Soldiers' Busts On Classical Columns. The Back And Bottom Of Each Metal Bookend Has Red Felt That Is Not Original. They Each Measure 8 3/4"Tall x 4 3/4" Wide x 3 7/8" Deep. These Metal Bookends Are Quite Heavy Weighing Together, Approximately 5 3/4 Pounds. There Is Wear To The Paint And A Slight Bend In One Of The Bases, (Shown In Last Photo). Considering Their Age, These Unusual Bookends Are In Very Good Condition.
