Early 20th Century Porcelain Portrait Posy Vase.
A very pretty little posy vase done in the traditional, turn of the century, Austrian style. Only remnants of red are left on the bottom of the vase, most likely where Austria was once stamped and a faint number impression of 4204. The vase measures 4.5" tall and 4.5" wide at base. Decorative scrolled handles with gilt highlights. The mouth of the vase measures 2" in diameter with the actual stem opening measuring 5/8".
Some minor age related paint loss at around the widest edge of the vase and one chip on the underside of the opening that measures 8mm by 5mm. Please see last photo at right. I have priced it accordingly.
