This wonderful sinuous sided Art Nouveau piece exemplifies the very art of this period. The pendant measures approximately 1 ¼ inches in length by just over ½ inch in width and comes with a 16 ½ inch chain.
The black enamel is delicately applied and is found circling the center mine cut diamond and on either side of this circle. This mine cut diamond is placed in a 6-prong setting and is quite secure. 2/3rds down on this piece is a peg-set seed pearl set east-west with a bluish nacre.
Spring ring, chain and bale are all marked for gold content, one of which can be seen in a photograph. This pendant is extremely feminine and detailed with no apparent damage noted on close inspection.
