Mid-Century Modern 14K Seed pearl Turquoise Brooch

This handmade detailed 14k yellow gold brooch is extremely beautiful and well made. There are 10 perfectly matched seed pearls and seven turquoise that contribute to the beauty of this circa 1950’s piece. The center turquoise is placed is a fine 6 prong setting and measures 9 by 7mm’s. The pearls are all peg set and measure approximately 3mm’s with the smaller turquoise placed in a six-prong setting and measure 2.5mm’s.

The 14k yellow gold that was used is more of a burnished rich color of gold and works very well with the gorgeous color of the turquoise stones. Total measurement of this brooch is 45 by 27mm’s and comes with a substantial weight of 6.46 grams. To the back you can see a fine rollover clasp that works seamlessly.

Just below the oval turquoise found on the back of this brooch is a company/artist stamp and right after you will notice the hallmark, in this case it is clearly marked ‘14K’.
