Antique 14K Yellow Gold Moonstone Jabot Brooch Pin

This antique 14kt yellow gold hand-cut and polished Cabochon Moonstone pin is simply lovely. Oval Moonstone is placed in a bezel setting and at the top of stick pin you will see a pointed arched tip. This design style was used for extra protection when worn, as the wearer would first make sure that this piece was anchored into the fabric before adding the clutch.

This particular stone measures approximately 12 by 7 mm’s, with the length being a touch over 2 3/8 inches and weighs a total of 2.0 grams not including the clutch. The stone is placed in an open back bezel setting and the clear blue flashes of magic is exactly what you would be looking for in a very fine moonstone.

This Moonstone brooch is not marked for gold content but has been tested. The top portion holding the moonstone tests at 14k, while the stick tests at 10k gold. Please note all my offerings are completely guaranteed to be the karat content that has been described. Gold and Moonstone are in very nice condition with just a simple bend located on the stick portion of this brooch. I can’t tell you if this is the original clutch to this brooch, however it will be included in your purchase.
