Being offered is a Circa 1910 Industrial light fixture. These were typically used in store windows or display counters. The fixture has a brass base which has been cleaned, lightly polished and waxed. The brass fixture is period and retains its original porcelain light socket which has been tested and rewired. The fixture is mounted by two screws which are secured to the ceiling. New brass screws and plastic mounting plugs are provided.
The fixture has a nice sheffield type shade in an opal or white color. The shade is period and not a reproduction. The shade has no chips or cracks on the body of the shade. There are some minor fitter nicks/roughness which are not seen when the shade is in the fitter. The fixture has an approximate 7" drop to the tip of the bulb, a 7 1/4" diameter rim and a 5" diameter base. The lamp comes with a NEW Edison style filament bulb which looks great in the fixture.
This is a very nice single socket Industrial style period fixture which will look great in any period home.
