The stool has a pressed cane seat which has been professionally restored. The original shellac finish has been cleaned and polished, it has a nice warm patina. The original iron mechanism has been cleaned and oiled, it functions well. The iron has its original black paint. The splayed cattail reed back is solid and looks great. The stool also has a wood ring foot rest. There are no broken elements or repairs, the stool is very solid, it is fully functional for everyday use. The stool is tall and has the following measurements;
34 " to the top of the seat, adjustable to a height of 39".
15" diameter circular seat.
