Being offered ia a very nice brass Classical gas sconce, Circa 1870. The wall sconce is in great condition with no broken elements. The sconce has a new old stock wall escutcheon and shade fitter. The sconce has been previously polished and lacquered.

The sconce comes with an early copper wheel cut shade. The shade has repeating center band of cut leaves and a pattern of long bead cutting on the rim edge and bottom flare. A rare shaped cut shade which is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

The sconce projects approximately 16" from the wall and is 9" tall. The shade has a 4" fitter. The sconce has been rewired and is ready to install with new mounting hardware.
